Hurricane Melissa Jamaica Relief
Thank you for visiting our site. In the wake of the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica, we have updated our site to FOCUS our immediate efforts on providing support to certain communities that are mostly affected, especially the most underserved areas, and communities, where no AID has been. Concentrated efforts will be provided for the rebuilding of homes, including where our Executive Director (Carolyn Anderson) is from.
UPDATE: LTC will be focusing its efforts on rebuilding lives and homes, one family, one home, one community at a time. We have identified the 1st Home and Community that we will be focusing on and will document the journey for all who participated to see.
This particular area of the country suffered tremendous loss, including damaged homes, no electricity, no water, no internet, no food etc. âand haven't received any of the aid. Thank you for all your love and support. â LTC will also be deploying Medical Services, Food, Shelter, Rebuild and other Immediate Needs. We will also be setting up Medical Tents, Counseling Centers, and providing basic needs, as needed. The Task ahead will not be easy, but with your help we can make a difference. It will more than likely take all of 2026 to rebuild and reestablish the Village we have adopted.
